and then there were four... it seems like a million years ago we took these announcement photos.  after all the waiting and anticipation, and some more waiting, she's here!!  meet clara maeve.  a perfect addition to a wonderful family.  her big sister is the sweetest you've ever seen, with the best little personality ever.  i cannot wait to watch the shenanigans unfold with these two little girls in the years to come.

hush now... it's been a while since i've had a session where baby fever kicks in.  but this one, not only did the baby fever kick in, but i wanted to just take their baby home.  he was so perfectly perfect.  we moved him around more times than i can count and he never woke up once.  not even a flicker of the eyes.  what a wonderful little bundle of joy!

one this is certainly a case of "where did the time go?"  elizabeth went from zero to one in a blink of an eye.  this picture below feels like yesterday...

and now we are here!

elizabeth did not disappoint on her first ever indulgence into pure sugar.  she took one look and dove in hands free.

but what we really need to celebrate here is her mom.  her mom is a fabulously over the top party organizer.  there seriously was no detail left undone for this pink lemonade party.  you would think she would have stopped after buying the lemonade stand.  but oh no, party details included a vintage dresser to display the desserts, an antique teacart for the lemonade glasses (which were of course color coordinating mason jars), and the pink vintage highchair.  Not to mention all food made from scratch.   And this isn't even the half of it in term of all the thoughtful details.  Well done, my friend, well done.  You never cease to amaze!

Happy Birthday to our sweet Elizabeth!

back to "old school" last weekend was back to school mini sessions for me.  it was oppressively hot, i mean really really hot, but despite the heat, there were so many happy faces to capture.   i super loved all the kids' comments such as "can we do the apple on the head like last year?!"  what joy that the kids are so into it and are suggesting their own way to compose a shot, and that they generally don't want to leave after the session.  photos should be fun, and that is indeed what we had a lot of with these sessions featuring vintage school props.  here's just a small sample for you to enjoy:

think spring! the bunnies are back!!  and they are bringing some friends.  this year's easter mini sessions will be extra adorable with not only tiny bunnies, but also week old chicks.   these sessions are very popular and one weekend only... so don't delay in reserving your spot.  hop to it!!

the fine print:   due to the added complexity of working with live animals, these sessions will all take place in my home in harvard.  a nonrefundable $50 reservation fee will be due at time of booking to hold your spot with the balance of $45 due at the time of session.

a day in the life project i completed a personal photography project during the last snow day.  it's a day in the life project.  i started taking pictures first thing in the morning and captured all the little bits and pieces that make up a regular day at our house.   the idea is to take photos of the everyday life that you wouldn't normally think to capture like brushing your teeth, making breakfast, etc.  it's freezing in time the little things that define the phase you're in but change so quickly before you even have a chance to notice.  my photos are not technically great and the composition may sometimes be a bit off, but it's very real and captures us.   what i loved about this project is that it made me slow down to appreciate our little quirks and more importantly, to take notice of how quickly my little ones are growing.  it seems they are changing a lot by a lot and not "little by little" as my business name suggests...

i urge every parent to take this challenge.  capture your "everyday".

here's our day...

blueberry pancakes for breakfast!  nadia loves to help cook and luckily this was a time when she did not make up her own recipe...

a little window art to pass the time while the snow fell at a furious rate

owen keeps his room very orderly.  here he was organizing his prized possessions... a video camera and a princess alarm clock he inherited from his big sister.  nadia decided a couple weeks ago that she couldn't sleep with a clock in her room as she watched the time too much and then would panic that it was taking too long to go to sleep.  owen overheard this conversation and quietly went upstairs, unplugged the clock in her room, and set it up on his nightstand without every saying a word.  he's had his eye on this prize for over a year now - what glory to finally have it!

will the snow ever stop???  not this winter it seems

at least we can snowshoe

maggies is always in her element when the snow starts falling

owen got himself dressed today - no shortage of flare in his choices as usual

this simple pic of their bath setup actually makes me really sad.  i've just realized it's been months since they played with toys in the bath.  another phase gone without any warning...

fuel for round two of shoveling.  here's a quirk about matt and i.  we really do not enjoy coffee made at home.  at all.  i was so overjoyed when matt braved the storm for our guilty pleasure.

it really feels like yesterday when nadia first put together her first few words to read.  and now she's on to chapter books by herself.  this reading thing is crazy how fast it changes.  she does though always read outloud which makes me smile.

did i mention this kid will only answer to "ninja owen?"  we are in a serious ninja phase presently.  cars are definitely done and superheroes are also over.

bath time.  without toys.  at least he still loves his animal towels.

getting ready for bed finally...

wiggling her FIRST LOOSE TOOTH!!  it is going to be touch and go if nadia turns 7 before she loses her first tooth.  she is convinced she is the last first grader ever to still have all baby teeth.

wondering how much longer she'll let us cuddle up and read her books at bedtime - this puts a lump in my throat to think she could do this on her own.

owen falls asleep in about a minute flat every night and does not move at all the entire night.  note the giant bruise on his cheek from earlier today...i did put the camera down and did not capture the incident when he ran into the corner of the wall.  after i yelled at him 10 times to quit running in the house!!

and the big girl is out... but this isn't her usual sleeping style

yup, this is more like.  she does gymntastics even in her sleep.

and this is our life!

teeny tiny love how sweet is this little bundle?!?!  So tiny and so very perfect.

hello bright eyes it never fails... i seem to have some sort of magic power to make notoriously sleepy newborns completely wide eyed for their newborn session.  this adorable little guy did not want to miss one second of his photos.

But after lots of cuddling and a full belly...

he finally started to get a little tired....

and couldn't fight off the blissful sleep any longer... sleeping like a baby as they say :-)

yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yum... that's what little lucy said through her 1st birthday cake smash session.   she started by delicately picking off each polka dot on the cake... and then she expertly enjoyed the cake.  the whole cake.  once again, i could not resist adding captions to the photos.  just so much personality is captured in these super fun sessions - love them!

"i'm not sure about this, but I'll try one teeny polka dot made of frosting"

"uh oh, these polka dots are getting my hands dirty"

"well, maybe just another little taste"

"yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum"

"to heck with it, i'm just going to dive in"

"what? was i supposed to share this?"

"so happy!!!"

the flower child i cannot tell you how much i loved this session.   none of it felt like work... just a nice walk in the park with a skipping little girl who radiated in the sun. it was everything i love about photography.  and what a captivating little beauty - i mean, just look at those curls!  I must warn you though that looking at these may want you to book a session with your own little sweetie :-)

you are my sunshine you are my sunshine, my only sunshine, you make me happy, when skies are gray...  this is the art hanging in perfect little penelope's nursery.   it perfectly captures how fun and full of warmth this growing family is.  love, love, love capturing them.   it is freezing these types of moments in time that make me love photography.   it's the never the posed shots that i love, but the in between, candid interactions between families.

(little by little photography) Sun, 09 Jun 2013 21:02:39 GMT
brothers these two boys are quite possibly the most loving brothers i've ever seen.  they played and made each other laugh through the entire session - every parent's dream to have two kids who are best friends and make each other belly laugh.  adorable!!

(little by little photography) Sat, 25 May 2013 02:43:48 GMT
picture perfect perhaps the trickiest part of a photo session is to pick out your outfits.  there is a bit of an art to doing color coordination and adding textures, without being too matchy matchy.  here is a perfect example of how to do it.  bright vibrant colors that all coordinte together - LOVE!  now, there is one member of this adorable family who was not such a fan out of the outfit selection.  the 6 month old little guy was not so sure about the photo session... until his clothes came off.  then he was all smiles :-) perfect little boy!

Baby Love I know, I know.  A bit behind on the blog.  But that's because I've been busy behind the camera!   The last week has been filled with babies, birthdays, and blossoms.   Here's a peak from a very sweet session with a perfect baby boy.  A very alert baby boy I might add.  I think the picture in the bottom left captures him perfectly - wide eyed and totally enamored with his doting mother.

(little by little photography) Tue, 21 May 2013 01:28:28 GMT
twenty tiny toes over spring break, we drove from our home in harvard, ma to where we grew up in michigan to meet two of the most perfect babies.  these sweet 7 week old babies are our preemie identical twin nephews - nolan & evan.  On the first day of our visit, it was their due date which was of course celebrated with cupcakes and a "zero" candle.   i have to tell you, it was a long 7 weeks to wait to meet them.  but they stole our hearts upon first glance... even our 3 year old son wanted to borrow one and bring him home.  i admittedly did too.  there is just something about those little newborn noises they make, they way the grasp onto your finger with their tiny hands, and they way they curl up on your chest as they fall into a deep sleep...  irresistable!

and they are definitely identical!  nolan has the cream hat with the tan stripe below and the brown diaper cover.  he also has his toe nails painted blue on one foot to help hopeless aunts to tell them apart.  evan has the tan hat with the the cream colored stripe.

this last picture is perhaps my favorite of the session.  not for technical quality, but for capturing real life with twins.   as sweet as these two little babies are, it is not an easy road to have two preemie infants.  it's beyond exhausting.  this is not a picture where I caught my brother-in-law blinking.  he fell asleep right in the middle of the session!   i always say that i love to capture "real expressions"...

B is for Baby you know those couples that just exude love and happiness?  well that is lauren and stephen.  what fun to capture them in the exciting time just weeks before their baby's arrival.  i simply cannot wait to see them again with a teeny tiny baby to dote on - what happy times indeed!

Baby season It's April 1.  The snow is finally melting... and the first flowers are starting to peak through.  Spring has finally arrived, and so has baby season! Cannot wait for all the maternity and baby sessions coming up!

We squeezed in a session over Easter weekend of this growing family to kick off the season.  Stay tuned for news as that adorable little boy you see below will be a big brother in just a few weeks.

this is our life - lifestyle photo project for weeks 8, 9, 10 and yes 11 Yes, I know.  Posting 4 weeks worth of weekly photo challenge images all at one time may give the appearance it is a monthly photo challenge.   But think of it this way... it's a huge bonus post as you get 4 in 1!!!  Moving on...

The prompt for the weekly lifestyle photo challenge was "wild card" for week 8.  This may at first seem like a strange choice for a photo selection. But I love it because it perfectly captured our life emersed in potty training.

The theme for week 9 was "shadows".  And I must say this theme fit what we were feeling a little too closely.  When doing children's photography, there is a desire to capture all that is quirky, lighthearted and fun.  But if I'm truly capturing "this is our life", I have to share that our sweet little girl had to grow up way too fast all in one day and learn life is not all rainbows and fairy magic.  Her beloved kindergarten teacher lost her life in a drowning accident on my daughter's 6th birthday.  It was heartbreaking.  She grew rather quiet for the next couple days, and I caught her here watching a late winter storm.  I can only imagine what was going through her little mind as she watched the snow swirl in the wind...

The prompt for week 10 was "changes".  Only fitting to show a bit of the fairy fantastic party Nadia and her friends enjoyed for Nadia's birthday.   The girls made fairy gardens, earned fairy wings, and ate lots of fairy treats.   I can't believe she is 6 is already... she is changing way too fast for me to handle!

And finally... we are all caught up to week 11.  The prompt is "play".  If you've met my three old son, you know he is all things obsessed with cars.  He spends hours and hours lining them up in perfect order.   We recently re-did his bedroom into a big boy room - complete with a car theme.  He of course finalized the decor with a line of cars on his dresser, with each car hand selected based on color and racing ability.   As quirky as this stage is, I will be forever sad when he doesn't play this anymore.  For now, line 'em up!

hopping with excitement! 10 sessions in 2 days with little kids and live animals... whew is all I have to say! A huge thanks to the kids who gently played and adored our fuzzy little friends, and to the parents who chased the runaway bunnies.  I'm certain nobody left those sessions thinking it was boring :-)   Anyway, here's a little peak into the fun we had with our 8 week old bunnies...

And finally... someone caught a bunny after all that bunny fishing!!!

good cake! A year ago, I met Trace.  If you've been on my website you know his sweet little face and you've seen his newborn picture below.   I cannot believe a year has gone by and this little guy is turning one already.

We did a cake smash session for his first birthday and it was so AMAZING!!!  The best part... we are 99% sure he said his 3rd and 4th words in the middle of the session.  He said clear as day "good cake".  I also think his sugar high would have led to first steps during our session if the floor wasn't so slippery with all that buttercream frosting.... he was so close!  Anyway, I dare you not to smile as you scroll through the series of images below from this fabulously fun session...

Ok, I can't resist adding some captions.  "is this cake for me?"

"ok, I'll have just one little taste to be polite."

"wow - good cake!"

"this looks like a two-hander"

"am i going to be in trouble for this?"

"who cares!  this is unbelievable!!!"

"i have found chocolate bliss.  just ignore that drool running off my chin"

"life is good.  very good."

Happy Birthday Trace!!!

Sleeping beauty Maybe I shouldn't title this post as sleeping beauty since the baby is a boy... but seriously, this perfect baby model slept the whole way through our entire sesssion.  He was perfect in every way.  And what a beautiful family!   My absolute favorite image of the session is the first one below.   What I wouldn't give right now to have my little ones back at that fleeting stage where they find baby bliss sleeping on your chest like that...

(little by little photography) Wed, 27 Feb 2013 03:05:22 GMT
this is our life - lifestyle photo project for weeks 6 & 7

The prompt for the weekly lifestyle photo challenge was "good morning" for week 6.  I caught these two planning out their day like an old married couple.  Except the conversation sounded like this "lets start with superheroes and then we'll play animal doctor".  These two particular imaginary play games are a bit like groundhog's day at our house.   Every stuffed animal in our house must have broken its legs at least 50 times now.  Luckily we have a superhero on hand to save the day.

And the prompt for week 7 was "negative space... it's a positive!".  The concept is to effectively use the open space surrounding your subject.  To use it to add emotion and draw your eye to the subject.  Week 7 for those of us in New England translated to a massive nor'easter snowstorm that dumped 30" of snow in 12 hours.   My little sweetie needed to exlpore in the heart of the storm, so here she is trudging her way through a snow day.

Here Comes Peter Cottontail! Oh yes friends - it is true.  Live bunnies are coming the weekend of March 9 & 10 for Easter pictures.  Sessions are limited and filling up quickly, so sign up now.   We'll have two brand new baby bunnies about 9 weeks old for the sessions.   I promise you there is no prop cuter than this.  Don't miss out!!!

Six Super Sweet Sessions Last weekend we did six Valentine's sessions in a day.  Whew - it was quite the whirlwind!   It was my first experiment with stuido photography... if a single chalkboard wall in our playroom/office/guestroom counts as a studio.   It was a lot of fun - and I must say I can see the appeal of studio photography where there isn't a scavenger hunt for the best light and you have everything you need right there.  My passion will always be lifestyle photography where you capture unscripted moments... kids oblivious to the camera as you capture them in their element...expressions that aren't prompted.  But I have to admit I can't stop thinking now about a future studio to be added over our future garage addition... someday!

Thanks to all my models and their patient moms.  So many bright smiles and beaming personalities were captured in our silly Valentine's day shots.  I loved way more images than I expected from the sessions - those kids were amazing!!  A peak below from the super sweet six sessions:

Love, love, love this one of the twins...

but I'm fairly certain they loved this one where we painted their hands a lot more - they thought this idea was crazy!

how cute is she?  I'm tempted to make this family's gallery fully public so you can see this little girl work it.  what a natural!!

and big props to her older sister for losing her tooth just in time to make the perfect missing tooth picture.  love this smile!!
do the expressions get any cuter than with these sisters?!?

Oh yes, the expressions do get more fun when their baby sister is added to the mix!

Now this little man is at that age than can be tough to pin down for pictures so I wasn't sure how our session would go.  Holy Mr. GQ!!  He was adorable the whole way through.

Who doesn't love having their picture taken with chocolate face accessories?  From my small test sample, I can say it was a hit all around.

What a little sweetie.  She patiently posed for shot after shot after shot waiting for her brother to join her.

But he had other ideas... some guys just know from the beginning that they will not bow down to Valentine's gimmicks.  I was secretly happy he revolted because we got some sweet lifestyle shots of him that day.   And last but not least, the cupid arrow.  How cute are these two rocking the perfect pose?

Happy Valentine's Day to all of these little sweeties!

Love Lessons The weather outside was frightful... so of course we turned it into an impromptu photo day.   And I must say, the results are some of my favorite images captured of my kids in quite some time.  My absolute favorite one is below.   And it's not a portrait by a long stretch.  I walked into our playroom and found Nadia telling Owen all about love and depicting the whole thing out on the chalkboard wall - so of course I tip toed out to run and grab my camera.  This is what lifestyle photography is all about...  stumbling on those oh so sweet moments and freezing them in time.

Then we headed outside for a whirlwind session in under 5 mintues.  I wanted to get a picture of Owen with the little cupid arrow we made. What I did not even know I captured until I sat down at my computer later was Nadia running in the background.   This one is not a technically good picture, but I couldn't resist sharing anyway as it is just a funny scene overall.

And finally, the images I had a bit of control over.  This next one may go down as one of my all time favorites.  Just love the soft snow falling and her expression.

A fun day with my little loves...

this is our life - lifestyle photo project for weeks 3 and 4 This Is Our Life - A 52 Week Lifestyle Photo Project by Paint the Moon Photoshop Actions

The plague has hit our house.  Nothing serious, but one virus after another has visited our house this month.  I can't even tell you how much school my kids have missed which directly coorelates to less time to do blog posts and the like.  Argh!  I've kept up with the lifestyle photo project, but just didn't quite make it to posting the photos here.  So to catch up on week 3 and 4...

Week 3's prompt was "this makes me wish I could freeze time".  I remember when we got the little kitchen for Nadia and she was barely old enough to pull herself up and stand next to it.  Now she towers over it with that wild head of curls.  I will be forever sad when this phase of fancy dressup and make believe comes to an end.

And the theme for week 4 was "from a different perspective".  This is my little sweetie playing the piano princess style as she calls it with pinkies up.

(little by little photography) Wed, 30 Jan 2013 02:17:34 GMT
Nothing but fun... I simply cannot say enough nice things about these children.  They were all just bursting with happiness and personality for our entire session.  And their attitudes were beyond amazing- my biggest challenge was capturing it all.  And the best part was all of their creative ideas for composing a shot - I think there's a few photographers in the making here!

(little by little photography) Tue, 22 Jan 2013 03:47:49 GMT
A weekly photo challenge... this is our life This Is Our Life - A 52 Week Lifestyle Photo Project by Paint the Moon Photoshop Actions

I've been thinking about joining a weekly photo challenge for a while, and I'm ecstatic to have found the perfect project hosted by Paint the Moon ( love, love, love her work).   Each week we will be assigned a new theme to capture - all focused on lifestyle photography.  What is lifestyle photography you ask?  It is essentially capturing real life moments - genuine expressions where the subject is not posed, and often times has no clue the camera snuck its way onto the scene.  It's an interaction, an emotion, an expression.  It's documenting the tiny details of everyday life.

Why do this?  For inspiration, for a new perspective, to capture the details of my little family that are slipping by all too quickly...  And I love that this is focused on my family.  It's easy when starting a photography business to occasionally forget to capture the little ones in your own home!!

I'm starting a bit late of course... so here's catching up on weeks one and two

Week One Theme:  Evening Rituals

Yes, Owen is the kid who fights with all his might to avoid the bath.  And then turns into a wrinkled prune playing for what seems like an eternity with this one particular tug boat.  Every single night.

Week Two Theme:  This Makes me Laugh

I think maybe the picture requires no explanation on why it makes me giggle ever time I look at it.  And yes, the potty is in our family room right in front of the TV :-)  I'm sure a gripping episode of Caillou was on during this shot.

(little by little photography) Fri, 18 Jan 2013 02:13:19 GMT
12 of 2012 I was pouring through last year's pictures in an effort to get organized for the new year.  Inspiration struck while in the process and I came up with the idea to share my favorite "12 of 2012".  But here's the thing... photography is super subjective.  And this gets proven to me over and over again as my favorite image from a session is rarely the client's.   So why are these my favorites?  Some of the 12 images here I love because of the lighting or composition, some it is the expression or moment captured, and some I just, well, love.

Baby Joe It was a bit of a sad realization over Christmas that my nephew whom we affectionately call Baby Joe isn't exactly a baby anymore.  Goes by way too fast as they say...  At least he is beyond cute as a big boy!

#littlebabies so the number of grandchildren on my husband's side of the family will soon double.  my two "littles" will soon be joined by #littlebabies.  this is the name of the teeny tiny identical twin boys my brother-in-law and his glowing wife will be having much sooner than later.   the anticipation of their arrival cannot be put into words... or even captured in pictures.

as luck would have it... mother nature gave us a picture perfect day for christmas.  and the neighbors happened to have a red bench that was just begging to be used.  check out the results of our impromptu maternity session!

Holiday Fun! This family defines laid back.  They were all so wonderful to work with and it made for such a fun session. You would never know these poor girls were freezing their tails off by all the smiles we captured.  Huge troopers!

tutu cute! They don't come much cuter than this.  I just can't get enough of this cute little face - just look at those eyes!  Most of our images though are of the back of her head as she was zoom zoom fast speeding away on all our fours!

That's the way I like it Oh, that's the way, uh-huh uh-huh, I like it, uh-huh, uh-huh.  That's the way, uh-huh uh-huh, I like it, uh-huh, uh-huh....  This KC & The Sunshine band is permanently stuck in my head from the girls singing and dancing to it during our session.    I was cracking myself up last night as I was still singing our little theme song after I edited each image.  If my plan has worked, you are now humming it too :-)

Fun sisters + goofy theme song = good times and a great photo shoot

Toes and coos... too much to handle for this photographer! Is it wrong I want to steal this baby?  Lucy is the sweetest thing ever.  I love her obsession with sucking on her toes, and the way she coos when you talk to her, those chubby thighs, and have I mentioned this perfect baby does not cry?   Even my three year old son was infatuated with this irresitable bundle of cuteness.   Yes, we will gladly keep her.

So sweet... Have you ever seen anything so sweet?

A royal/halloween/ birthday extravaganza! Parker was a perfect 2 year old at his birthday party.  Completely refused to wear his costume and was wrapped around him mom's leg for 90% of the big day.   But his big sister, Emma, that is another story.  She was in her element amongst all the other princess party-goers.   And oh the glorious fall sun we had!!!  I couldn't get enough of all the dressed up kids tromping through the leaves with all that perfect light.

Photography bliss Words cannot describe how much I enjoyed this session.  It was a photographer's dream come true.  Coming from a family of self claimed "posers", I hope to feature much more of this future model.  One session is definitely not enough of sweet little Emma!

The girls... I have to admit... this was a bit of a crazy session.  It was quite the flurry to capture these fashionistas before the rain drenched us.  But what I couldn't help but notice amidst the chaos was all the love between these little ladies.   I adore them all...

Oh baby! Oh Jonah, those big blue eyes stole my heart upon arrival.  What an alert and incredibly strong little boy!  Definitely showing off the athletic genes from his mom and dad.  I simply could not get enough of this teeny tiny little guy - he was too darn cute!!!

My big boy My little buddy has had zero interest in becoming a big boy.  He refused to get out of his crib, generally wants to be carried everywhere, would prefer someone else to deliver food on a fork to his mouth, and forget potty training.  So he started preschool last week, and since then he loves his big boy bed, has made a solid effort at potty training, and insists sippy cups are for babies.  What kind of miracles are they working at that preschool?!?   Thank goodness he still clings to his lovey (affectionaly called "old froggy") as I like to have a little baby still left in there :-)

Class of 2025 My sweet little girl has officially joined the class of 2025.   I have to admit, I was absolutely dreading the day she rode off on the big yellow bus to kindergarten.  She was more than ready to go, but it seems I was a bit reluctant to let go of the phase we were leaving behind.  So we savored the last bit of summer by heading to our town beach for a little fun on the night before her big day.  I wonder if she'll still have all those curls when 2025 rolls around...

Happy Day This is a case of patience paying off.  We had to reschedule a couple of times due to all the rain over the last month.  This session was well worth the wait though.  We had perfect weather, happy kids, expertly coordinated outfits, and a lot of fun.    I just love, love, love all the vibrant colors and happy faces we captured.

Summer fun with the boys The true essence of little boys captured here!   Note no animals were injured in these the photos - the toad was released safely back into the wild :-)

A day at the beach... I've made up my mind.  It is now mandatory for all clients to take me to their favorite getaway spot as a get to know you session :-) What a fun day we had at this family's little slice of heaven on the beach.

Natick Celebrities I really really enjoyed meeting this couple.   They just overflowed with love and affection.  It is no doubt that the baby on the way will be loved beyond words.  In fact, I think not just adored by the glowing parents to-be, but by the entire town of Natick!   Within minutes of starting our session in the park, people were shouting hello from their cars as they drove by.  What a honor to work with the Natick celebrities!

Adeus to Ana (that's goodbye in Portugese :-) )

What a fun session!  But it was oh so bittersweet.  These little ones are losing their beloved au pair in just a few days as she makes a short trip home to see her family in Brazil, and then onto Australia to follow her heart.   As you can see, Ana is clearly very adored by the kids, and will be sorely missed by all.  Best wishes Ana!

Everyday Mischief What I love the most about photography is capturing everyday moments.  Especially the everyday mischief of a two year old.   Like refusing to take off his superman pajamas for days on end even though he has no idea who superman is.  He just knows the pajamas are cool, and even cooler with the cape.  The attire is perfect for sleeping, going to the grocery store, and most definitely for family walks where you can hide behind a wall and jump out to surprise your dad and sister who are coming around the corner.
