Love Lessons

The weather outside was frightful... so of course we turned it into an impromptu photo day.   And I must say, the results are some of my favorite images captured of my kids in quite some time.  My absolute favorite one is below.   And it's not a portrait by a long stretch.  I walked into our playroom and found Nadia telling Owen all about love and depicting the whole thing out on the chalkboard wall - so of course I tip toed out to run and grab my camera.  This is what lifestyle photography is all about...  stumbling on those oh so sweet moments and freezing them in time.

Then we headed outside for a whirlwind session in under 5 mintues.  I wanted to get a picture of Owen with the little cupid arrow we made. What I did not even know I captured until I sat down at my computer later was Nadia running in the background.   This one is not a technically good picture, but I couldn't resist sharing anyway as it is just a funny scene overall.

And finally, the images I had a bit of control over.  This next one may go down as one of my all time favorites.  Just love the soft snow falling and her expression.

A fun day with my little loves...
